Where does it come from?
Rosehip seed oil is a pressed seed oil, extracted from the seeds of the wild rose bush in the southern Andes. It also can be extracted from another rose that grows in many regions of the world including South Africa and Europe.
What is it used for?
The fruit of the rosehip have been used in folk medicine for a long time. Rose hip have been used against the common cold, infectious diseases, inflammatory diseases...
Wild rosehip fruits are particularly rich in vitamin C. A study has also shown the potential for rose hip extract to reduce arthritis pain. But more importantly, this oil has great skin benefits.
